Another Lavish Lace Garment Is Complete!

Here is a photo of test knitter Judy Z wearing the garment she test knit for Lavish Lace called Rosebuds and Climbing Roses.  The scarf is knit from Merino Lace in the colorway Wild Cherry.  Here’s what Judy has to say about her experience with the scarf:

I wasn’t happy with the way the seed stitch boarder was sitting next to the garter stitch body.  I reblocked the piece and the edges still aren’t laying flat, but I think they’ll smooth out a bit from the weight of the scarf when it’s worn.  If I were to knit this again, I would eliminate the seed stitch entirely and just go garter stitch the whole way.   Here’s a pic of the scarf out for an outing on New Year’s Eve Day at the ice skating rink at the Hotel Del Coronado.  This is my kind of winter!!!!
