Much business happens behind the scenes at a large show like TNNA and there was plenty of it in store for us. Some of it will be a surprise, other things we can tell you about right now.
For one thing, we decided to purchase a large amount of yarn for DBNY which stands for Discontinued Brand Name Yarn, one of our sister companies. Expect plenty of cottons, silks, linens and wools from companies like Plymouth Yarn and Louet, plus more needles, accessories and notions all at at least 50% of retail.
At the show we also met with various designers and authors to plan next year’s knitting retreats. Some of the people we talked to include Margaret Radcliffe, Sally Melville, Shannon Okey and Patty Nance. Don’t be surprised if you see one of them at the Hanson House in 2014!
