Believing In Writing

potluck-yarn-map-wipSmallSecrets of The Lost Caves which is the 2nd book of the Potluck Yarn Trilogy is now half written.  I just passed 200 clean pages of the book, which I started last fall and I hope to have the first draft done this fall.  I am certain that my editor will have plenty to cut and all kinds of side notes in the margins, plus I am sure that I used a lot of words incorrectly and ones not even in the English language, but it has been a revelation.  I had no idea that these witches and fossickers had so much more to say and do.  Sometimes it’s like watching a movie, a private screening in my head.  If I told anyone, even my husband, he would not believe me, so I have to put it out in words.
