Broad Band Arrives at Potluck Yarn

We are excited to share that the new handpainted shifting shades Broad Band Supersock Silk has arrived at Cherry Tree Hill and the Potluck Yarn Shop will be stocking it in all 25 colorways! Unlike the sample skeins we previewed last fall, these hanks have been hand wound into cake form for your knitting convenience.

These cakes are stunningly beautiful–they actually resemble sushi rolls or cupcakes and look good enough to eat! We know many of you have pre-ordered the yarn and along with other promotional goodies, and we will be shipping your orders first.

Broad Band is a fair trade yarn 9 months in the making, but owner/ dyer Cheryl Potter says it was worth the wait. She loves how the standard Cherry Tree Hill Colorways have been dyed as Broad Band. Instead of the usual 3 to 4 inches of each shade before it changes in a typical colorway, Broad Band offers you 60 feet of color per shade. Imagine the possibilities!
