Getting Ready for the NIT Tournament Black Friday

Hi Everyone!

Our family got to NYC last night just in time for a Turkey Dinner in Times Square! We had squash soup, turkey with green beans and stuffing, sweet potatos and all the fixins. Although apple pie came with the meal, none of us had room for desert!

Back in our room next to Madison Square Garden, I was very pleased to see this news flash on ESPN:

Thank heavens: New Yorkers, and college basketball fans across the country, get what we wanted — No. 4 Arizona vs. No. 6 Duke, Friday night in the championship game. Between the Champions Classic in Chicago and now the NIT, the college basketball gods have been very kind this November.

It’s going to be so tough! I am such a Duke fan, but I did graduate from the University of Arizona. I brought both my Duke and Arizona T-shirts, just in case!

I already have my Duke shirt on!
