Hands On Knitting Center

While in California this past weekend I stopped in to see my friend Sharon Mooney at her store in Redlands called Hands On Knitting Center. Sharon will be co-authoring the next Lavish Lace book with me and she had some wonderful beaded shawl designs in display in her shop.

One of them which will be in the new book was just so exquisite that I am thinking I would like to put it in the fashion show at TNNA. The other garment I would like to show is the Fire and Ice shawl from The Broken Circle. Pictured at the shop are Sharon and I with her partner Molly and staff member Sue.

The shop had a wonderful blocking table–I guess now I know why Sharon’s garments are so well finished!
