Hanson House Fall Retreat Update

Hanson House Retreat Photos

We have updated our fall retreat schedule at Hanson House and would like
to make everyone aware of some changes.

Peak Week Dying to Dye which was scheduled for September 25th-29th has now
expanded into a second session which will take place Oct 2nd-6th. We have
only one space left and it is in Session One. If you would like to
learn how to dye any fiber any way and also work on your own project in
a professional studio setting, then this workshop is for you! Click
here
for details and contact us if you would like to attend.

The Writing from Within workshop with Shannon Okey and Cheryl Potter was
so popular that it will also be offered once more this year. It will
take place the weekend before Rhinebeck, October 9th-13th. Rhinebeck is
just a few hours from Hanson House, so if you are going–as Shannon and
Cheryl are–why not make a week of it?

After the writing workshop ends on Monday, October 13th Shannon and Andi
Smith of Big Foot Knits will be available for one day break out sessions
leading up to Rhinebeck. Hanson House will be offering overnight
accommodations for day students who would like to stay an extra night.
Come join the fun! Contact the knitting witches for more details.

Here are a few comments from some of our happy retreaters:
Any one else still awash with the magic of our retreat?   I have a million ideas swirling but I am prioritizing….”Marie D.
Still awash, indeed.” – Mary L.
Cheryl, I so enjoyed my time with you and Shannon.  The workshop had to be the most worthwhile, educational class I have ever taken.  Fascinating and far reaching in its scope.  Very inspiring and I was able learn from the projects other people were working on.  Enjoyed the other people also.  Accommodations were really clean and comfy.  Food provided by Cold Spring Kitchen were delicious, healthy, and presented well.  Loved Martha, the caterer!  She is pure cooking talent in the body of a sweet, attractive young woman.  We all wanted to take her home!  But she loves her Vermont homeland!  Thank you, Cheryl and Shannon!” – Sharon M.
