Kingfisher Shawl WITH BEADS!!!

You have already seen the Kingfisher Shawl in our previous blog. Now, it’s time to see the Kingfisher Shawl With Beads. It’s amazing what a few little fun sparkles can do to spruce up a knit.

1 skein Supersock Select Fingerpaints, 100% Superwash Merino, 420 yds, 4 oz, color Tropical Thunder

 6/0 Miyuki Beads, color 395

1skein Supersock Select Solid, 100% Low Micron Superwash Merino Wool, 420 yds, 4oz, color Amethyst

32" size US 9 circular needle (used only for casting on)

32" size US 6 circular needle

Size US 14 Hiya Hiya steel crochet hook

Stitch marker, any kind

2 Locking stitch markers

Gauge before blocking with #6 needles, 6.5 sts and 8 rows to 1"

Blocked to 47" wide at top edge, 74" wide at bottom edge, 6" deep at outer edges, 14" deep at center 

This shawl was blocked out further than the non-beaded version to show difference in stretch in wool and wool/silk blends.
