Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival 2013

setting up for MD Sheep and Wool Festival

This past weekend, the knitting witches went to Maryland Sheep and Wool. We put up our Potluck Yarn banner in the old Cherry Tree booth in the main building and filled it full of magical yarns and kits from The Broken Circle.

In just a few hours we were set up on Friday and had a great chance to look around at all of the rare breed sheep still coming in to the show. This year was the 40th anniversary of the festival and it was the liveliest ever.

We met up with our friend Bobbi who is one of the event organizers and her service dog Patton who is an Otter Hound. Bobbi is hosting an event called Blended Threads this fall and she invited the knitting witches to come, since the final day is Halloween. What knitting witch in her right mind could resist?
