I have lots of great news this week. I am out in Arizona working on the first draft of The Potluck Yarn Trilogy Book Two: Secrets of the Lost Caves. While out here, I have been trying to figure out the best way to make Book One more accessible to you.
This past week I signed with a national distributor who specializes in indie books and this summer The Broken Circle will be released to schools, conventional bookstores and available for summer reading lists. Teachers, I spent most of the week writing a workbook aimed at 11-13 year-olds as a summer reading companion. Let me know if you would like to beta test the workbook.
I have also signed with an ebook distributor for The Broken Circle and hope that you will be able to download it to your Kindle, Nook or iPad sometime this summer.
In the meantime, you can still get The Broken Circle book and pattern book individually or as a two book set in print or ebook form Potluck Yarn, Amazon or The Supersock Store. I have also released all of my individual patterns as downloads to Patternfish and The Supersock Store and will be posting them on Ravelry at the rate of about one per day.
They will be available for sale starting this weekend and we hope to schedule a reading there soon.
I am teaching a series of knit and dye weekend workshops this fall. If you think you are Dyeing to Knit, we still have a few spots left in Session 3 which is just before Rhinebeck.
If you can’t make it to Vermont to take a class from me, don’t worry! My new CraftArtEdu class Creating Colorways with Cheryl Potter goes live this week. Take the class, and if you want to use the exact same dye kits and dye hanks, they are available right now at the Supersock Store.
It’s true, the Supersock Store is closing–and there are some great yarn store closing deals–to make way for our new Potluck Yarn superstore! More on the new store when we’re closer to the Grand Opening.
