Peak Week in Vermont

This weekend is considered by many to be Peak for Fall Foliage in Northern Vermont. The weather has been perfect this year to produce the nicest colors. For that you need cold snaps at night, warm Indian Summer days and no rain.

Did you know that Cherry Tree Hill has three colorways inspired by Peak Foliage? They are Fall Foliage, Indian Summer and Sugar Maple.

A lot of people question the Sugar Maple Colorway, stating that there could not be that much red or fuchsia in the leaves, but there is, especially in Northern Vermont where things tend to get colder earlier in the Fall, coupled with the fact that there are so many Maple Sugar Bushes around here, which is where you get your maple syrup. The high sugar concentration coupled with cold nights and warm days produce those brilliant yellows, reds and fuchsias you see in the Sugar Maple Colorway.

Just some of the colors that were used to inspire the Supersock yarns!
