Have You Cast On Yet?

Potluck Yarn on Ravelry

The Potluck Hats Knit Along is officially under way. This week on Ravelry, our blog, and our Facebook page, we’ll be learning how to roll a ball of yarn from our skein, cast on, and get started knitting in the round.

If you’re a new knitter you won’t want to miss these tutorials. If you’re experienced, you’ll be ahead of the curve and we’ll be looking forward to hearing about your favorite ways to roll a skein of yarn into a ball and cast on.

If you haven’t signed up for the Knit Along because you think it’s too late, think again. There are a few Potluck Hat kits still available on the Supersock Store, and if those sell out, you can still buy the pattern and a different but equally yummy yarn in a colorway that suits your tastes.

The Broken Circle: Yarns of the Knitting Witches is getting closer and closer to becoming a real book every week.

This week we are looking at the second version of the design for the cover and interior pages. We’d love to see what you think. Hop on over to our blog and vote for your favorite design.
