Sightings on the Green

Like many historical towns, our city of Prescott has a town green which was once the lawn of the Courthouse and now is used for by the community for events such as craft fairs, dog shows, western re enactments and the like.

It can get very busy on the green, and often there is not place to park nearby. People love to walk their dogs and relax on the park benches and in the gazebo and watch the people go by. Often antique car shows and motorcycle club rallies are hosted on the green as well.

Yesterday I went into town for lunch and was unable to figure out what the event was. There were lots of booths, people and dogs milling about but no theme that I could discover. I met a Great Mastiff dog, two people dressed up in Star Trek Uniforms and found table after table of used items for sale under the courthouse flags. Finally I had to ask someone what was going on.

Turns out it was an Antique Show!
