Studio Tour

cheryl_studio_yarnI know that many of you have seen pictures and videos of my studio here at Cherry Tree Hill, but did you know that most fiber artists also have a private studio somewhere else? I know it sounds crazy, given that my dye studio is beside my farm and is over 5000 square feet, but I view that place as where I “work.”  My studio at home is where I play.

cheryl_studio_deskThose of you coming to our Dyeing to Knit Retreat will get to see it, and if I did not show you how to get to it, you would not be able to figure out where in my house you could access it.  That is how truly private it is. One hint I’ll give you is that you can access it from the library roof if you go out the window and climb the stairs to the balcony.  The other hint is that the inside access is hidden in a place you would not think to look.
