Yesterday Shannon and I said farewell to our writing workshop students and sent them back out into the world. We did take some time to do a little sight seeing before they left in planes, trains and automobiles.
We spent a few minutes at Courier’s General Store in Glover surrounded by baked goods and taxidermy of all kinds.
Shannon and I communed with Mr. Moose with Sharon and Molly while contemplating spring seeds.
Shannon also took a few minutes to bid farewell to our small basset hound Plummer on his level.
We were truly sad to see our writing retreat end, so sad in fact that we think we will teach it again the weekend before Rhinebeck. This time, it will be called Stitch And Scribe and once again be directed toward combining craft and creative writing. If you or any one you know has ever yearn to combine fiber arts and writing in a more meaningful way, contact us for more information.
We will also be have one day break out sessions leading up to Rhinebeck for those of you who might want to use Hanson House as a stop over on your way. We will be calling these one day workshops Road to Rhinbeck.
