We Have a Winner!

Smokey Jo's Oven Mitt Design WinnerThanks to everyone who voted on the three finalists for Smokey Jo’s
Magical Oven Mitt to be published in the Companion Pattern Book of Book Two
of the Potluck Yarn Trilogy, which will be called Secrets of the Lost

The overwhelming favorite is the two-toned oven mitt designed by Debra
Batshe Jennings from California. She calls the mitt Reversible Felted
Oven Mitt and knit it from 2 hanks of Potluck Worsted, one dyed in the
semi-solid Tasman’s Shadow and the other dyed in the colorway The Highlands.

Smokey Jo's Oven Mitt Design WinnerSays Debra:  ”It is reversible and on one side you get vertical
striping, plus you get some subtle horizontal striping.  On the other
side, you get subtle horizontal striping.”

Because we stated that Smokey Jo’s Magical Mitt fit all who wear it,
Debra made the mitt large enough to fit a man.

Debra wins $250. Thanks Debra, for a magical design!

Anyone who wishes to test knit the pattern in exchange for free yarn,
