Win $100 When You Name Our New Self Striping Supersock Yarn Colorways

Last week we asked you to choose our new self-striping supersock colorways for 2014.  Out of the 18 possible colors you helped us to pick nine front runners that will be featured in the next Potluck Yarn Companion Pattern Book which will accompany Book Two of the Potluck Yarn Trilogy, Secrets of the Lost Caves!

This week we’ll have a naming contest!  We’re going to show you your top picks by the number we originally assigned them.  Whoever comes up with the cleverest and most apropos name wins a $100 gift certificate at the Potluck Yarn Shop to spend any way he/she desires. Name one or name them all, your choice!

Can you name the yarn?

Can you name the yarn?

To name colorways, you do not have to know the knitting witches or have read the first book, but it would be very helpful!  Remember, these yarns are dyed by the knitting witches of Potluck Yarn so a name like Fossicker’s Treasure is going to get a higher rating than Treasure Island.

You might want to look over our Character Bios, Maps of the Middlelands and Bordertown - or you can download the new E-book and give it a quick read to get a thorough understanding of the story! Plus you can find tons of information on our blog posts, of course!

Here is the first yarn color you selected – help us name it! To name the yarn simply leave your name pick as a comment on this post! The yarn will be nameable for only TWO DAYS, and on Wednesday we’ll have a new color to name!
